Unlike other finos in the Alvear range this Fino does not enter the typical "Solera" system and is instead aged by vintage to really show the differences that occur from year to year.
Bottled "en rama" (so unfiltered) this is a powerful expression of a fino. Heady with almond and yeasty aromas it has a rounded mouthfeel and in the mouth is packed with olive saltiness, green apple and a touch of quince. A delicious wine to enjoy with a meal or share over a plate of boquerones.
