Diaz Sliced Morcon

Morcon is a type of chorizo, and it is enjoyed in the same way. It is typically found in; Andalusia, Extremadura and the province of Salamanca – this meat, unlike chrizo is normally a lot leaner and has a lower fat content. 

It is a smoked sausage made from cuts from the iberian black pig, which mean it has its distinct nutty taste. 

Morcon works well being served by itself, however it pairs well with; red wine or a rocket salad with manchego shavings.
