After nearly 30 years of producing world-renowned wines in the Ribera del Duero DO, Bodegas PradoRey has recently acquired a new terroir in the tiny village of La Seca, DO Rueda, which is used to produce the Roble. Both Verdejo and Viura grapes are grown at the vineyard.

Intense purple-red with blue undertones; the nose shows complex aromas of ripe red and black fruits, including blackberries and plums, as well as coffee beans and vanilla. On the palate it is well rounded, meaty, fruity and spicy with good tannins that offer a pleasant, long finish. Overall the Roble is a fresh, balanced wine.
