Pincerna is the joint project of Alfonso Bazaga and Gabriel García Luengos and was born in 2014. Their main focus is on two indigenous grapes, Prieto Picudo & Albarin.

The Albarin grape is a native grape of Leon and is not commonly found outside this region. Alfonso & Gabriel have worked hard to recover and elevate this grape to give it wider recognition. The Pincerna Albarin has a lovely breadth of light tropical fruit and is smooth and creamy in the mouth. Fresh and with a long finish, this pairs nicely with fish and white meats.
