Orot’s origins date back to 1980, but it wasn’t until 1997, with a vision for the potential of the Toro D.O., that they decided to establish their own winery in the town of Toro, at the heart of the appellation.

The two-story building, one floor of which is underground, features an excellent Crianza room, naturally maintained at optimal temperature and humidity, ideal for aging their wines. Situated in the southeast of Zamora province at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level, Orot has 20 hectares of vineyards dedicated to the Tinta de Toro variety, with vines now over 15 years old.

Made 100% with Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo), it presents an intense red color with blue and purple hues. On the nose, it is a very fruity wine combined with floral notes, while on the palate, it is lively, fresh, and very balanced.
