Bodegas Muga is a family business established in 1932. Since then it has gained international recognition and acclaim through its meticulous adherence to traditional wine-making techniques.

Aged for 26 months in oak and a further two years in the bottle, this wine has a brilliant ruby colour.  On the nose the Rioja Reserva’s floral notes overtake the fruit, while fresh hay and smoky oak related aromas such as vanilla, coconut, roasted coffee come to the fore. On the palate it is firm and robust, with mineral flavours. It has a good, very long finish.

The Muga Reserva will keep on improving in the bottle for a further 5 or 6 years from purchase.
