Established in 1996 by Pablo Calatayud, Celler del Roure began with a modest 20 hectares of vineyards – though this has since tripled in size. Based in the village of Moixent in Valencia, a site of wine production since at least the early sixteenth century, Celler del Roure is committed to nurturing and championing the wines and indigenous varietals of the region, most notably the Mando grape.

Aged for 12 months in French oak, the Maduresa presents a bright and clean cherry colour. On the nose are aromas of ripe red fruit, complemented by delicate oaky overtones; it is powerful, fresh, yet perfectly balanced on the palate, and very well structured with a nice long and soothing finish.
