Delgado VOS Viejo Amontillado

Having produced sherry for more than two and a half centuries since 1744, Delgado Zuleta is the oldest family-owned winery in the Jerez and Manzanilla districts. It is located in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, a small coastal town at the mouth of the Guadalquivir river.

Catalogued as VOS (Very Old Sherry), it is the classic Sanlúcar amontillado, with fine and elegant notes on the nose but very soft on the palate. With more than 20 years of aging, it comes from musts of the palomino variety 100%, with aging through the traditional system of soleras and criaderas. It ages in American oak barrels. 

The nose is intense and clean and at the same time very deep, with certain notes of citrus and woods. The palate is dry, with a fine initial step, giving rise to a long end in which oxidative notes are present.
