A remarkable winery focusing on sustainable, organic and sensitive farming inland in Utiel-Requena, Valencia. The region is famous for it’s indigenous grape, the Bobal which is high in acidity and big on fruit. Chozas Carrascal are one of the leading lights of the region. Arriving in 1990 they spent 2 years monitoring the soil before embarking on this project, and continue to learn and fine tune their viticulture and winemaking year on year. 

For this wine they have chosen to focus on the Cabernet Franc grape which has a tendency to be a little untamed! This is an unconventional blend of buttery, meaty sensations with wild herb notes and a tart acidity that refreshes the palate. An exceptional wine that needs to be savoured and sipped.
