Casa de Outeiro is located about 350m above sea-level on the slopes above the Valle de Quiroga in Galicia.  The estate is made up of 32 hectares split over different soil types and with differing aspects.  

The Mencia grape is not widely found but is worth hunting down if you like a lighter style of red. Fragrant and lightly floral with delicate red fruit notes and fresh acidity.
