Hugely lauded and highly rated, this is an intense expression of the Muscat de Alejandria grape. A powerful, dry white with a concentration of herbal notes and complex citrus flavours. Although it is initially light and fresh it develops a robust body with a long, dry finish. Quite an extraordinary wine that shows the potential of this grape outside of the usual sweet or off-dry blends. 

Pepe’s wines are rooted in the Mediterranean landscape and are representations of the terroir of the region. After many years in the wine industry, several of which were spent in his father’s winery Enrique Mendoza, he recently started out on his own. He has already developed a reputation as someone at the forefront of modern winemaking in Spain.
