Portales Pérez is a family run bodega in the historic centre of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. It was founded in 1997 my María José Portales after having operated as an almacenista for decades. 

This manzanilla is aged for around 10 years. On the nose we have dried flowers, hay with hints of wet sand and saline air. Subtle yeast and green olive brine. Hints of old barrels. Light pastry notes and nuts, with hints of oxidative roundness. Complex and attractive. In the mouth its very dry with a good acidity and bitterness. Sharp and serious. There are notes of mediteranean herbs and traces of dead flor. Warm and sapid aftertaste with hints of almonds coming through and plenty of salty notes. Good length.
