About us
Ultracomida started in Aberystwyth back in 2001, with a tiny deli, a few takeaway options, and a lot of love for great produce.
We focused on cheeses and cured meats from Spain, France, and Wales, sourcing directly from producers like Gomeoliva, who are still with us today.
A small cellar space doubled as our first seating area, and before long we were also running a stall in Cardigan Market (2003–2006), bringing our favourites to a wider crowd.
The Ultracomida Journey
It all began in Aberystwyth in 2001, with a tiny deli and a simple idea: to share the best ingredients and wines from Spain with people who love good food. What started in a cellar has grown into a family of Welsh delis, restaurants, and bars, each one shaped by that same passion for quality and community.
