La Prudencia Jamón Ibérico de Bellota 100gr

A family run business for over 100 years, established and founded by Don Prudencio Benito in 1910. The company is now in the hands of the 3rd and 4th generations who continue to rear their Ibérico and Duroc pigs on the free-roaming Zafra dehesa in Extremadura.

The “bellota” grade means that the pigs have fed exclusively on acorns during the months of November-February (the “montanera” season). This gives the meat a rich and intense aroma, slightly nutty and with an unctuous and flavoursome marbling of fat.
