Bodegas Barbadillo was nominated for the 2015 Peñín Guide Prize of ‘Best Winery of the Year’. With a legacy stretching back to 1821 and an eye for innovation they are making some of the most exciting sherries on the market. This is an oloroso which has been sweetened with a touch of Pedro Ximenez to create a style of sherry called ‘amoroso’. This name, which means ‘loving’, acknowledges the smoothness achieved through the long aging period. A beautifully balanced and silky sherry with notes of plums and dried fruits.
